Hello! I'm Jayli and I am the creator behind this blog. I am 18-years old from Massachusetts and completely in love with reading. I also have a passion for science, especially Arctic Science and I hope to major in Arctic Science and minor in English. 

I have three animals: two cats named Rune and Kisa, and one huge adorable Black Labrador named Loki (yes, Loki from the Avengers, and the Nordic Gods). All three of them love to get into trouble, and on each other's nerves all the time! I have an amazing and supportive mom who constantly shares great advice and book recommendations to me. I wouldn't be where I am today without her. I am also very lucky to be part of a huge family (even though we bicker and yell at each other ALL THE TIME).

I am a girl who has many hobbies and passions. I love reading, cooking, making cringe-worthy jokes, exercising, tennis, knitting, romance, television, and animals. I have a very bad obsession with coffee. Some of my favorite movies are Pride ad Prejudice, Harry Potter, StarTrek, Jumanji, and GameNight. Some of my favorite tv shows are Community, UnReal, One Tree Hill, That 70s Show, and American Horror Story. One thing I do not like is gardens. I appreciate gardens, but my family will be that family that gets there early in the morning and stays until they close. I do not know about you, but I can't stare at the same flowers for over FOUR hours. 

                                 

As for books, to put it plainly, I love them. I love connecting with the characters, and being so engrossed in a book, I lose track of time. My favorite genres to read are young adult, contemporary fiction, science fiction, paranormal, new adult, and many more. I love the romance genre, and will read literally any romance book (kind of a hopeless romantic). There are so many authors I love, for instance Tijan, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Simone Elkes, RS Grey, Amo Jones, B.B. Reid, Penelope Douglas.  

I have been reading books ever since I could learn how to read. I think my first book I ever read that was a chapter book was TumTum and Nutmeg by Emily Bearn (If you have not read it, it is the cutest book about two mice and their journey, and it is any age level). I started this blog because I have read too many amazing, and interesting books to not discuss them and share my thoughts with anyone who will listen (or read them). I will ALWAYS tell the truth in my blogs and I hope you do too. If there is something you disagree with, definitely tell me, so we can discuss it together. I love sharing and talking about books, that's why I created this blog! So that's a little about me. I can't wait to get started and get to know everyone.
